While doing the research for my personal & professional development, I came across lot of information which I believed was true however, after a while it sounded fishy. Then an entire opposite perspective is lauded on same case. First I thought it’s just the search phrases that are different or it’s the research technique which needs to be re-looked at.
As I progressed in acquiring knowledge about different aspects, I realized that approaching a singular query with unidimensional approach will not get me the true information as different authors and evidences are collected with certain perspectives and studies. Hence written down as per author’s personal motive. In fact, it is fatal in critical researches like theological research work where entire life & ideologies are at stake or any critical decision making information collection. So, after few months of aggressive thinking and making different combinations, luckily understood the building blocks of any information processing filter.
You may disagree with what I have understood & applied, however this study has benefited so jotting it down. When applied in different circumstances, researches, information gathering & debates; it proved to be very concrete, stable and depth to which it showed its practical application has given me the confidence to share it with people who can do good for mankind.
It is four layered (04 layered) information processing framework called HLSR. These are first letters of intellectual filters from where when any information passes through, it becomes valid or invalid. Simple.
In theological research & debate, what has benefitted me with so many different subjects and faiths is that through first three filters an Atheist Mindset is handled and when an Atheist Mind is all convinced then the Theist Mindset is addressed. Addressing Atheist mindset without conviction has resulted in failures multiple time with me as well. So, the arrangement of information processing is done linear to handle all aspects of Atheist & Theist Fellowship. This management of information processing is much easier & practical to handle and deliverable is most reliable.
Whereas, this processor has served to acknowledge or to bust lot many hardcore traditional & cultural beliefs as well with utmost authority.
So here it is!
H – HISTORY
Any & every information which comes across us has either have a historical perspectives attached to it or if it is from future with a historical perspective upon which futuristic projection is formulated. Historical value of any information serves as the base for application of Logic.
Why History? This question has popped up many times during heated discussions and debates as why to start with History & not with any other aspect. For this we need to understand that why the selection of “History” was most suitable information base to start with:
We get information which has already occurred through three major sources:
- Mythology: Stories & Epics developed and narrated by humans which have prevailed since centuries containing imaginary & creative characters with imaginary worlds and story lines decorated with glorified vocabulary and mesmerizing sequences.
- History: Achieved facts as incidents happened in past without creative human intervention of any kind, which are preserved in different forms, places and can be cross verified through technology, physical observation & literature.
- Legend: Amazing hybrid of Mythology & History. This form contains minor portion from historical evidence and rest of the story line is built around any event, figure or era through mythological cloud.
So, to get the realistic and actual picture of any incident which comes under radar is suitably handled under historical perspective which can be verified through different cultures, literature, archives & if required then physical evidences.
Understanding the definition of History & passing any independent or influenced set of information through this filter eliminates lot of garbage at first place. As most of the events, information and happenings which are told to us are either Myths or are Legends. So, filter of History has proven first major step towards cleansed knowledge. This filter also helps build factual ground upon which Logic can be exercised.
I have experienced that if any logic is built on mythology or legend, it collapses in seconds. As it is universal law that human wisdom needs solid ground to defend. Filter of History provides that.
L – LOGIC
After building the ground for debate, second and most powerful filter which needs to be exercised is human wisdom, academics, comparisons, factors and possibility which are combined together to formulate Logic.
Any philosophical debate is based upon sound logic. Especially in theological research I have found that 100% faiths which are followed since ages have defined their philosophy of fellowship to masses.
Disintegrating information though logic not only develops understanding of different pillars of an information but also satisfies the intellectual mind to continue to follow or not. As preaches of different faiths across globe principally use philosophy to define critical concepts of their faiths.
Filter of Logic defines & re-defines many historical perspectives. It is therefore utmost important to proof read any base of information determined through history with application of Logic.
I have experienced and it is true that history can be proven corrupted in many cases. It has happened many times in history that false information was incorporated & preserved by powerful for their personal gains and even through acute cross reference efforts, true picture cannot be obtained. So, scrutinizing historical base with logic has proven the authenticity of historical data collected.
This filter of Logic applies 100% on any & every given data or information. Few credible answers which can be attained through Logical Filter are:
- Use of vocabulary & its meaning in particular language according to reference to the context
- Probability of possibilities in that era under those conditions for certain aspect to happen
- Happening in particular case v/s happening universally v/s law of nature
- Creative speculations & defining the cause of action etc.
Now that human wisdom accepts or denies any information through Logic. Most of the information is processed by human mind to learn, un-learn & re-learn. But to satisfy an Atheist Mindset more needs to be done. As Scientologists oriented Atheist mindset need scientific proofs of what their mind is now fighting with.
S – SCIENCE
Most of things we know or use or dream to use has some base work done already. So, the application of third filter of Science clears it all. Today we have data, facts, studies, theories, technology and algorithms through which occurrence or happening of any information can be filtered and truth can be surfaced.
One thing which needs to be very well understood is that “Science is work in progress whereas, Religion defines end result”. So, the comparison between two remains baseless.
Science can be used as means to reach goal, Science is never the goal rather it is a continued process of human understanding about defining equations to reach certain conclusions. So, to satisfy the scientologist based atheist mind after filtered historical information logically approved by thinking mind, now it’s time to see every aspect of defined logic (or philosophy) through gauge of science.
This has proven litmus test of all speculations, wishful thinking and how it was in past and progressing towards future with proven factual scientific study. May it be beginning of time or end of time.
Science has gone miles in busting lot of myths. May it be conversion between mass & energy, visible to stealth, deep dives to defying gravity, time-lapse to time-travel, embryonic or nuclear studies, killing of cells to re-generation of cells, data collection to minutest details, algorithms to address complex equations etc. Today, in the era of communication, information and dynamic advancements in technology with emergence of AI in every sector, it is possible for any average mind to seek scientific understating and factual proof of any given case very easily.
First Three Filters
These three filters (History, Logic & Science) together work as formidable mechanism to any & every information to be true or false. Here an Atheist mind is comprehensively handled and now final filter of Religion needs to be addressed that what all one has understood through historical evidences, logical understanding and scientifically proven studies; How diving faith according to different holy scriptures have defined the actual knowledge which was sent to all of us.
R – RELIGION
This is the trickiest part which had taken lot of time to understand as how to apply it effectively. Religious scriptures stamps the information which one has already understood and seals the proven information through cross verified studies of scriptures. This needs to be carefully deployed after good study of references from Holy Scriptures.
People I have debated with & religious scholars with whom I have shared this framework have asked that why religion is kept at the end and not at the beginning?
- I have always replied that HLSR framework normally deals with disputed cases between intellectual minds and most of the cases are of religions nature. I have found that if we quote religion at the beginning of debate then people stop their thinking process and always goes into complying mode. Either it sets them off permanently from the addressed topic or they start following it blindly without understanding the actual need of the cause.
- I have also understood that as negative forces are working hard against the good so in weak times, if the concept is not understood with is perspective (history), argument (logic) and factual proof (science) and it is only obeyed under forceful command then we make it is easier for negative forces to distract us because a rebel inside us was never satisfied and we are forced to follow. This has happened to billions of non-believers & distracted believers across globe since millenniums through blind following.
Important! Study and understand own religion first then go for other religions.
While studying comparative religions I have not only searched the online resources but have also interacted with religious scholars of the faiths as well as maintained healthy interaction with followers of the faiths. This made me understand that how fellowship believes in their doctrines and what all needs to be presented and filtered from their scriptures. It has paved ways for them to help themselves understood the actual requirement v/s fabricated information which they believe through ancestral blind following. An intelligent display of comparative studies between holy scriptures upon the addressed topic will help them confirm the information which they had already understood through HLS filters.
Few of the application methods which have proven healthy are defined below:
- Discuss information (addressed in HLS) in their scriptures, other scriptures & at last own scripture (easily available)
- Address the core only which should revolve around Ideological understanding, basic framework of system & basic behavioral broadcast. It always sets a very positive and practical tone to challenge.
- Never make fun of theirs believes and address the case only.
- Keep it simple and short.
It was experienced that lot of religious knowledge which is debated since centuries is pure philosophical & not religious. So, maintain that in Logic Filter we have given our philosophical input through acute logical application to task at hand. Here only reference from divine books are given with translation in language which everyone understands.
The HLSR information processing framework is a rigorous intellectual filter system which acts through four different dimensions about any intellectual debate at hand. It is applied mostly on religious queries however historical information can also be processed through it.
